If your talking about setting a tile to an already existing mortar/cement shower pan I suggest you use a ';Modified'; thinset. This is the white thinset you'll see next to the traditional grey on the shelf. Now if you're wanting to know what product to use to build the cement showers base, i.e., the cement used to build up and slope the floor for drainage, prior to, and installing your tile on, you can use the typical mortar mix that masons use in setting block. There's no real need to opt to buying the more expensive cements for a dry pack when and if you use the motified thinset.

What kind of tile adhesive do you use in a shower floor?
Use dry pack mortar with a blend of ';anti hydro'; and water admix to water-proof it.
