I laid floor tiles and used wickes adhesive. The adhesive does not grab the tiles properly. Can one recommend?

Did you lay them on wood and added water instead of the two pack solution?

Are the tiles unglazed and you used adhesive for glazed?

Did you use premixed wall adhesive for a floor?

Need a bit more info mate.I laid floor tiles and used wickes adhesive. The adhesive does not grab the tiles properly. Can one recommend?
i found something similar that i used at this link, its brilliant stuff and i did my floor no problem. one top tip though, dont go mad with the mix, only mix enough that you will be comfortable with, say enough to lay 6 tiles at a time. i also recommend you get the self mix grout in grey while youre at it whatever you do dont use white grout.http://www.epoxy-info.co.uk/flooring_goo鈥?/a>I laid floor tiles and used wickes adhesive. Is Wickes a brand name? Never heard of it. Maybe you are from UK or someplace other than US, but I have used a number of adhesives for flooring and never heard that name before.

If it is not grabbing the tiles, pull them up and start over, first trying to remove as much of the ';Wickes'; as possible and using an adhesive recommended by your local store or the tile manufacturer (if you kept the paperwork that may have come with it). Steve W., any ideas on this? I think he needs more input.
