New house and a rug was glued to the kitchen floor tiles. How do I remove the adhesive. Any old tips? Thanks.?

I've tried hot soapy water, scraping it and scouring it and it won't budge. As it was underneath the rug it has gathered dirt etc through the years and I desperately need to get rid of it. Any tips for removing it would be most greatful.New house and a rug was glued to the kitchen floor tiles. How do I remove the adhesive. Any old tips? Thanks.?
Mineral spririts should soften the glue and not damage the tiles. Soak a rag and hold it on the glue for a few minutes.New house and a rug was glued to the kitchen floor tiles. How do I remove the adhesive. Any old tips? Thanks.?
