Will ceramic floor tile adhesive stick to Nature's Miracle & Kilz treated concrete?

Yanked out odiferous carpet and pad. Need to de-stink it and tile it. Want to be sure the tile sticks to the de-stinkers.Will ceramic floor tile adhesive stick to Nature's Miracle %26amp; Kilz treated concrete?
For a ceramic floor tile installation over concrete, you should be using a thin-set mortar, not one of those premixed ';adhesives';. It will 'stick' to the paint / kilz on the concrete, as well as the paint is bonded to the concrete. Just be sure to clean the concrete and let it dry thoroughly before applying the kilz, and then make sure the Kilz is adequately dry before you start setting the tile. As long as the concrete is in good shape (no cracking or crumbling) you should be A-OK. Hope you're able to get rid of the odors! Will ceramic floor tile adhesive stick to Nature's Miracle %26amp; Kilz treated concrete?
just use a good multipurpose thin set adhesive you would be just fine
If paint on floor apears to be bonded well, not peeling bubbled anywhere, etc., a good multiflex will probably be fine. Though when I do these I'm a little more anal. It would be overkill to try to get all the paint off the floor, but what I do when I come across these is stone grind them a bit. you can go to your local rental yard and get one. It looks like a floor buffer, but it has 3 abrasive stones in the bottom. This wont get all the paint up, but it will get alot of it, especially if any of it is loose. On top of that it will scar the finish of the paint thats left, and give your multiflex more of a mechanical bond. This is not a horribly time consuming event. On a 400sq. ft. room it would probably only take about 2 hrs. Keep in mind I have nothing to back this up, but I would imagine this increases your bond strength 200-300%.
sure! what you want is mapei ultra-flex. home depot or lowes has it.
